How you know you’re procrastinating

You’re writing on a blog you haven’t updated for over half an year! Ding ding ding!

I’m really glad that I used to update this blog so often because it gives me some great material to come back and read now. It doesn’t even matter if nobody else reads this (future job background checks and the FBI aside), I’m reading it. It’s like a journal, except for the fact that I would likely lose a real journal. Oh me-circa-last-year, you knew that I would never abandon the internet. So clever!

I’m sitting in my school’s library now (my favorite haunt as of late) and I just noticed that there is a perfectly good apple sitting on the bookshelf next to me. How long has that been there? Does anybody actually touch any of the books in the library anymore? Jeez.

I have a 7 page paper to write tonight, which I am surprisingly more prepared for than I usually am at this point. Why must I be prepared for the paper in the class that I’m already getting an A in? Stupid priorities.

Just one more week of stress and this semester ends. Then I can start focusing on other stresses! Real stresses, like money and the future and OH MY GOD I HAVE TO TAKE THE LSAT. Oh, and the GRE. Great. I have a feeling this summer isn’t going to be a whole lot different from this semester come to think about it. Time to compile the list of all those books I’ll be reading (hint: no fiction for me!).

Now back to the dark halls of Twitter to kill time for another 30 minutes.
